About the Developers of the Simple Content Manager

The Simple Content Manager (SCM) has been built and produced by Turboweb Limited who are a team of web developers based in Dunedin, New Zealand.  We pride ourselves on being the people who develop the software and provide the support to you.  This means that if there is an issue with the system then we can react immediately rather than passing the request up the chain.

SCM was initially built as a tool to allow you to edit your own web pages but it has now has moved forward in leaps and bounds to what it is today, including eCommerce functionality, mailing list management and image management tools.  We have bolstered the development team to bring strong technical direction to the SCM and to ensure quality control and programming standards.

It is vital that the SCM system remains true to its name - that is "simple" - and as such we regularly seek professional advice regarding usability to ensure that the system remains simple to use.

As we get feedback from you we continually improve SCM - after all you are the people who are using the system.  Our rule of thumb is that if a new or existing feature is not simple to use, then it should either be removed, or modified to ensure that it is simple to use.  For this reason we release updates to the SCM system regularly to bring you the best (and simplest) way to manage your web site.
